Overview
I created Discover Yourself, a surreal cinematic short exploring identity, time, and self-reflection. My vision was to take viewers on a psychological journey, blending experimental visuals with emotional storytelling. The goal was to craft a piece that feels unsettling yet thought-provoking, showcasing how AI-driven creativity and post production can be used to express the inner struggles of self-discovery.
Challenges & Approach
The main challenge was building surreal imagery that feels both haunting and relatable. To achieve this, I produced multiple AI-generated assets and integrated them into live-action shots through an advanced workflow. I used Freepik, Kling AI, and Topaz for asset creation and enhancement, while the compositing and finishing were done in Photoshop and After Effects. Sound was crafted using Epidemic Sound, layering eerie textures with atmospheric beats to intensify the mood. My approach involved symbolic storytelling.
